Functions
- To provide advice on matters relating to appointments, deployment, ethics, discipline and Teachers’ development;
- To provide explanations on issued guidelines, circulars and regulations pertaining to appointments, deployment, promotions, ethics, discipline and Teachers development;
- To maintain Teachers’registers and provide registration numbers to newly appointed teachers;
- To scrutinize and validate Teachers’ Seniority List;
- To follow up Teachers appointments, re-appointments promotions and re-categorization;
- To follow up and ensure equitable deployment and distribution of Teachers among and within local government schools;
- To handleappeals resulting from the decisions made by the Districts Committees; and
- To effect decision made by the President concerning appeals.
