Functions

  1. To provide advice on matters relating to appointments, deployment, ethics, discipline  and Teachers’ development;
  2. To provide explanations on issued guidelines, circulars and regulations pertaining to appointments, deployment, promotions, ethics, discipline and Teachers development;
  3. To maintain Teachers’registers and provide registration numbers to newly appointed teachers;
  4. To scrutinize and validate Teachers’ Seniority List;
  5. To follow up Teachers appointments, re-appointments promotions and  re-categorization;
  6. To follow up and ensure equitable deployment and distribution of Teachers among and within local government schools;
  7. To handleappeals resulting from the decisions  made by the Districts Committees; and
  8. To effect decision made by the President concerning appeals.
